The purpose of this forum is to be able to report dangerous bolts to the ASCA for replacement. The ASCA's goal is bad bolt replacement, not the addition of new bolts to existing routes. There is no guarantee that bolts reported here will be replaced.

Include as much information as possible:
-- The date you observed the bolt
-- Photos if possible
-- Be accurate with the location, include pitch number (if applicable) and bolt number or anchor
-- Identity of the bolt

Only one bolt on this one and it's the worst I've seen so far in Fergy. SMC hanger, bolt bent in 2 different places, spinner, I hand tightened it a bit but can't do much because of the bends.
I think the route doesn't get climbed very much but the bolt might not survive someone blowing the crux mantle. There's a good piece a bit lower but the bolt failing would put you very close to the ground.

Mike, I can help with rebolting projects in Fergy, I have a very opened schedule these days. Get in touch with me if you need help!

This bolt could use a replacement, also two studs nearby could also use a patch job. Mike, Alexis and I would be happy to do the work, rig, or just fetch beers.......
