The American Safe Climbing Association (ASCA) received a major donation from the SLCA  to help keep our existing bolt anchors safe.  Old bolts abound in the Wasatch, particularly on classic routes. 

This donation will insure that ASCA bolt replacement continues to happen in the Wasatch.  Our Rebolting Coordinator and ASCA representative - Mike White and others have been active in replacing old bolts in the past, this important work will now continue.  Note that the ASCA does not add new bolts to existing routes, it only replaces bad bolts with newer, safer anchors.
