When: Thursday, October 9,
Time: Meet as early as 6AM at the park-and-ride, arrive when you can
Where: Little Cottonwood Canyon, the park-and-ride (early) or the WMC Pavilion/Swamp-Bog boulders (later)
The WMC pavilion at the bog needs graffiti removal and general clean-up so that it can be used for the raffle and after-party for the SLCA crag day on Saturday. The more volunteers, the better. This will go a long way in helping make the Crag Day a successful event. The landowner of the pavilion (and a lot more LCC land) has been friendly to climbers and this will help keep the SLCA and climbers credible in his eyes.
Work clothes, boots, gloves, and eye/ear protection are recommended.
Bring extra tarps/drops, flat shovels, grain shovels, or anything else that you think will help. The SLCA will rent a sand blaster, and a pressure washer, and longtime SLCA supporter Paul G. is bringing a paint sprayer. Shingo is going to have some coffee, bring a lunch if you want to make it a day. Bring your own beverages for later.
