The 9th Annual SLCA Fundraiser hosted by Black Diamond is TODAY, June 7th!

TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR STARTING AT 6PM
Funds raised will go towards advocacy, stewardship of Wasatch climbing, the Salt Lake Climbing Festival, and more. The SLCA’s stewardship focus this year is at the 140-acre newly leased Gate Buttress parcel in Little Cottonwood Canyon owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Cost: $30 in advance – Get your tickets before 4PM on June 7th and your ticket includes a SLCA membership + be entered into a drawing for a Black Diamond rope, draws, shoes, harness, pack & helmet!
$35 at the door $15 Kinds 10 & under
You don’t have to be a rock climber to enjoy this evening of games, music, silent auction, drinks and food.

For those under 21 years of age or if you can’t make it to Shades of Pale Brewery, join us at Momentum Millcreek on February 28th from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.
If you are 21+, we will see you on Thursday, March 1st at Shades of Pale Brewery (154 W Utopia Ave, Salt Lake City, UT 84115) from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. First beer is on the house for Climb a Mile participants and there will be light fare and good times to be had.
The Climb a Mile for the Wasatch Fundraiser has raised over $7,000 to date. We are blown away by the huge amount of support!
Funds raised go toward:
Advocacy work with local land managers to keep Wasatch climbing areas open
Stewardship of Wasatch climbing areas by hiring of professional trail crews, Adopt-a-Crag events, and the Wasatch Anchor Replacement Initiative
Education at the Salt Lake Climbing Festival
Community engagement to protect the places we love to climb
