No Man’s Land Film Festival: A Sold-Out Night of Stories, Stewardship, and Community

On Thursday, April 10th, Salt Lake City showed up big for the 2025 No Man’s Land Film Festival — our first SLC showing of the new series, and it was a total sell-out!

Hosted at Industry SLC in partnership with Gnarly Nutrition and the Salt Lake Climbers Alliance, the evening was more than just a film screening. It was a community gathering centered around advocacy, stewardship, and a shared love for Wasatch climbing.

The lineup featured powerful and inspiring films celebrating women and gender-diverse adventurers, creators, and changemakers from around the globe. We were honored to have Rachel Ross and Janel Dransfield, two of the festival’s producers and directors, as our special guest speakers. Their behind-the-scenes insights and passion for storytelling set the tone for a truly memorable night.

All proceeds from the event benefited the SLCA and our mission to protect and preserve access to climbing in the Wasatch. From climbers to creatives, from seasoned crushers to weekend boulderers, it was a beautiful reminder of what makes this community so special.

To everyone who came out: thank you for your energy, your support, and your commitment to climbing advocacy. Let’s keep the stoke alive and continue showing up for the spaces we love.

See you next year!
