Adopt a Crag Volunteer opportunity: Gate Buttress

We are bringing the Access Fund’s Conservation Team’s professional trail crew back to the Wasatch for another work stint at the Gate Buttress! We need your help! This project will be focusing on trail improvements to the Fin at the Gate Buttress in Little Cottonwood Canyon.

  • What: Little Cottonwood Canyon Adopt a Crags

  • Where: Meet at Gate Buttress Parking Area

  • When: From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the following dates: 

  • Saturday, May 10

  • Saturday, May 24

For all Adopt a Crag events, please keep in mind:

  • Wear closed toed shoes. Long sleeves and pants are recommended.

  • Bring water, snacks, and extra layers for the elements.

  • Be prepared to be challenged, work hard, and gain sending karma points!

Can’t make it out on Saturdays for the official Adopt a Crags? Volunteers are welcome to join the Conservation Team Thursday - Sunday from May 1 to June 1. If you have any questions, please reach out to stewardship@accessfund.org.
