For the Love Film with Hayden Jamieson
For The Love Film Showing
An evening honoring the art of climbing and film.
On August 21st, the climbing community filled The State Room for an unforgettable evening of film, storytelling, and connection. Presented by Camp4 Collective and Rab, the screening of For The Love brought climbers together to celebrate both the art of climbing and the power of film.
The film follows Hayden Jamieson, Jacob Cook, and Will Sharp as they pursue the first free ascent of Picaflor in Chile’s Cochamó Valley. What began as a bold objective became a story of persistence, setbacks, and the enduring pull of unfinished dreams. The audience was swept into the raw humor, humility, and heart that defined their journey—reminding us all why climbing continues to inspire and challenge us in equal measure.
Thanks to ticket sales and generous support, the event raised vital funds for the Salt Lake Climbers Alliance and our mission to protect Wasatch climbing through stewardship, advocacy, and community action.
We’re grateful to Camp4 Collective, Rab, and everyone who joined us for making the night a success. Together, we honored not just a climb, but the spirit of adventure and the love that keeps us moving upward.
