2026 Outdoor Recreation Summit

The SLCA attending the 2026 Outdoor Recreation Summit last week in Cedar City.

This is always an amazing event, full of outdoor recreation activites, amazing speakers, and networking opportunities. The Division of Outdoor Recreation has been a key supporter for the SLCA through their grant program and we are stoked to continue to partner with them, as well as attend events like the summit to see what other partners are accomplishing throughout the state.

The SLCA also partnered with Wasatch Trails Foundation and Wasatch County Parks and Recreation to give a presentation on “Grassroots non-profiteering & marketing.” In this presentation, each director provided their expertise on how important marketing is for non-profit and community organizations and how they accomplish their goals through unique marketing efforts. It was a great way to see how all three non-profits tackle challenges and continue to make positive impact within their communities.

We are looking forward to being back next year!
