The Annual SLCA Winter Soirée
Tickets Are Live: The SLCA Winter Soirée Is Back!
Winter might be creeping in, but we’re heating things up with the return of one of our favorite community traditions—the Annual SLCA Winter Soirée! If you’ve been waiting for the perfect excuse to swap your puffy for something a little sharper while still repping that crag-to-cocktail energy… this is it.
On Friday, December 5th from 7–9 PM, we’re taking over Alpha Coffee in Cottonwood Heights (7260 Racquet Club Dr). The espresso machines will quiet down, the lights will dim, and the climbers will roll in—dressed to impress, chalk dust optional.
A cocktail Party with Purpose
This isn’t just a night out—it’s a night that gives back. Every ticket sold helps fund SLCA’s stewardship and advocacy work, from anchors and access to the land management relationships that keep our crags open. When you raise a glass at this event, you’re supporting the future of Wasatch climbing.
Here’s What to Expect:
Live tunes from local band Allo Monroe
Photobooth antics (yes, that means you and your favorite belay partner hamming it up)
Silent auction finds you didn’t know you needed
Light bites from our hosts at Alpha Coffee
Cocktails poured by Sugarhouse Distillery
Beer from Moab Brewery
Tickets:
$55 – Adults
$35 – Youth (18 and under)
Kids 5 and under – Free
Dress Code: Après-Climb Chic
Break out your nicest flannels, your fanciest approach shoes, or that puffy that somehow counts as “formal” now. If your outfit could go from a wedding toast to a whip on The Coffin, you’re doing it right.
Why We Celebrate
The Wasatch is more than a backdrop—it’s our playground, our gathering place, our shared story. The Winter Soirée is a chance to slow down for one evening and celebrate this community we’ve all built together, pint by pint, pitch by pitch.
So snag a ticket, shine up those crag sandals, and get ready to toast to the trails, the granite, and the people who make climbing here what it is.
See you December 5th—drinks in hand, gear-head gossip on deck, and support for the Wasatch at the heart of it all.
