Get outside this National Trails Day and help make a difference!!

National Trails Day Saturday, June 6, 2015

8:00 AM to Noon

Grit Mill Area, Little Cottonwood Canyon. Help improve this area by assisting with new trail construction, rehabilitation, brush removal, an invasive weed pull, graffiti removal and litter clean-up.

100 vigorous volunteers needed. Participants must be 13 years or older for trail work, or 8 years or older for weed pull/litter clean-up/graffiti removal. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. All necessary tools and instruction will be provided.

Participants will receive a light breakfast & lunch.

Required for work: Long pants, boots or other sturdy, close-toed shoes, and work gloves. Work gloves will be provided for those who need them. Please bring your own hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, water bottle, weather appropriate clothing, and other personal items as needed. Long shirts for the graffiti removal.
